Coronavirus Statement

We have been in business for 30 years, weathering recessions, coups, bubbles, and a myriad of crises. But, of course, we have seen nothing like what we are seeing now with the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Still, we will outlast even this. And not because we are particularly resilient or intelligent, but because we have the support and patronage of a committed, engaged audience of readers and subscribers. (Thank you.)

In fact, I like to hope that, in this bizarre time, when we all must hunker in our bunkers to make everyone safer, there will be a resurgence in reading, a rediscovery of the power of books and stories to help us endure and understand our challenging times.

Rest assured that we have enacted all conceivable measures to ensure that we keep ourselves and our customers safe. Our office and shipping space has been thoroughly cleaned, and we are fulfilling, packaging, and shipping all products in a “touch-free” manner, wearing gloves that are sanitized daily, and we are practicing social distancing amongst staff.

Orders will be processed, packed and shipped one day per week via US Mail until further notice.

We will soldier on, and we will get through this by supporting one another, and of course by reading books. Thank you again for your support and encouragement over these long 30 years. Here’s to the next 30!
