"During the first half of the week, the weather will be warm with temperatures eight to nine degrees above normal. Daytime temperatures are expected to be plus two to five degrees, nighttime temperatures from minus one to plus two degrees. Wind on Monday will be up to 17 m/s, precipitation is light, but also sleet and rain. This is such uniform and boring weather."
The weather may be warming up in Russia in the coming weeks, but it's nothing to get excited about.
Muscovites were told this week that while the coming weather will be getting warmer and the precipitation lighter, overall the weather will be boring. Even though there will be a few more chilly Moscow nights, the wind and precipitation will be easing up and become more comfortable.
While this may sound like a good thing, that didn't stop this meteorologist from being disappointed. He may have a point: as we certainly know, winter weather brings with it not only exciting snowfalls, but also means more Russians doing things that are exciting.
