Belarusian Alexei Usikov has invented a new vehicle – a horsemobile, with the mighty horsepower of one horse.
The farmer, from a village near Mogilyov, tinkered with an Audi 80 and turned it into an upgraded horse carriage.
“It’s convenient, comfortable, the rain or snow doesn’t fall on you, and it’s warm in the winter,” Usikov says.
The little car-carriage even has a built-in wood stove and a stereo system, but Usikov – a local celebrity – has removed the wheel and handles the reigns from inside his vehicle instead. He takes his contraption out for rides in the countryside, building up to speeds of 10 kilometers an hour.
