Elista, Tea

Dzhomba, Kalmyk tea, to which is added cream, salt, spices and butter. Often, while mixing this viscous white liquid with a ladle, women utter prayers for health and good fortune. Refusing a cup of white tea can be interpreted as disrespect for the master of the house.
