William Stroock is the author of fourteen novels, including five volumes in the ongoing World War 1990 alternate history series, imagining a shooting war between the United States and the Soviet Union. Before writing full-time, he was a teacher and adjunct professor of history at Raritan Valley Community College, teaching world civilization and US History. He plays guitar, speaks some French, and lives in New Jersey with his wife and three daughters.
