The world’s biggest country, in a magazine. Since 1956.
Theo Elie (pseudonym for Fyodor Ilyin) (1873-1959) was a scientist, medical doctor and author of one of the earliest works of Soviet science fiction, The Valley of New Life, published under the pen name Theo Elie. After losing his vision completely at age 65, Ilyin continued to give lectures, dictate new publications and practice medicine. His antiutopian themes have been described as predecessors to the ides in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.
