It is only possible to obtain events tickets in advance through large tourist companies and travel agents. They will have Special 300th Anniversary booklets which will include a complete packet of event tickets. All city events will be free and most will be outdoors. At this point, there is not one specific place within the city to purchase tickets, therefore, most people are advised to turn to their hotel concierge. “During this Jubilee week, our guests can be assured that we will provide them with all possible support to participate in all the events,” said Natalia Belik, Director of Public Relations Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel. “We understand they will have certain expectations and we don’t want to disappoint them. They won’t have to go anywhere to stand in line for tickets, all will be available at our hotel.”
At the Hotel Astoria, which was built in 1912 and offers a completely renovated five star hotel to the city as its gift for 2003, Public Relations Manager Lena Kuznetsova assures guests “that our concierge will be fully prepared with all information. We will also have special daily signposts located throughout the hotel which will inform guests of the daily and upcoming events.”
