Washington Balalaika Orchestra presents presents our spring concert, Fairytales! If you've never heard a "symphony" orchestra playing authentic folk instruments, you are in for a treat. Domras in all voices, balalaikas in five voices, including the impressive kontrabass section, and joined by bayans, accordions, flutes, oboes and clarinets. Selections include Korsakov's Scheherazade, Tchaikovsky's The Snow Maidenand pieces from Prince Igor and Carmen.
