"The Blue Danube" Piano Concert with Ekaterina Willewald

The Icon Museum and Study Center is set to present an enchanting musical program titled "The Blue Danube," featuring renowned pianist Ekaterina Willewald. This captivating event will explore the rich heritage of the waltz through an exquisite musical journey that traces its origins from the tranquil Alpine meadows to the enchanting northern landscapes of Finland and Russia, culminating in the musical heart of Vienna. The program will showcase beloved waltzes by distinguished composers, including Chopin, Schubert, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Rachmaninoff, and Strauss, highlighting the evolution of this celebrated dance form.
