Founded in 1956, Russian Life was acquired by our company in 1995 and published as a print magazine through December 2025.
To this day it is the world’s oldest and best-known English language magazine focused exclusively on Russia. It covers Russian culture, business, travel, politics, economy and society.
Starting on January 1, 2026, the magazine is 100-percent digital, featuring the same beautiful long-read feature articles, book reviews, news articles, language learning tips, photo features, and more that the print magazine was long known for. Our coverage is objective, with a focus on enduring news, issues and events.
The online magazine contains the full 30-year archive of Russian Life print issues since 1995 – some 9000 stories and over 4 million words. As well, for the past decade or more, we have also been publishing several fresh and timely articles per week covering stories about Russia that are not being covered anywhere in English.
